Thomas P. Turner is an ATP, CFI, CFII and MEI and has been actively instructing for over 36 years. He is now in his 21st years as Executive Director of the American Bonanza Society Air Safety Foundation. After hours he runs Mastery Flight Training, Inc. as a flight instructor, author and lecturer, best known for his FLYING LESSONS Weekly blog at www.thompasturner.comTom holds a Master’s Degree in Aviation Safety and has authored six books and over 1500 published articles on flying safety and pilot technique. He was the 2008 FAA Central Region Flight Instructor of the Year and 2010 National FAA Safety Team Representative of the Year. In 2015 Tom was inducted into the Flight Instructor Hall of Fame. Tom instructs, writes and lectures from his home in The Air Capital: Wichita, Kansas.
